LESSON 9:  WHAT TIME 🕓🕢

Vocab

In this lesson we need new vocabularies to express time. Japanese language

also has 2 types of verbs:

i. Transitive verbs

ii. Intransitive verbs

The transitive verbs use particle [を] after the object.

Example :                   た

    1) ちちは ごはんを 食べます。[chichi wa gohan wo tabemasu.]

                                             の

      2) まいにち コーヒーを 飲みます。[mainichi koohii wo nomimasu.]

      3) せんせいは しんぶんを よみます。[sensee wa Shimbun wo yomimasu.]

The intransitive verbs will use fixed particle according to the verbs.

Eg:

1) わたしは まいにち ７じに おきます。[watashi wa mainichi shichi

ji ni okimasu.]

2) あには かいしゃへ いきます。[ani wa kaisha e ikimasu.]

3) たなかさんは よる おふろに はいります。[tanakasan wa yoru

ofuro ni hairimasu.]
